You will naturally spend your days here visiting the many sights and attractions in the vicinity. A guided glacier tour along Vatnajökull should of course be top priority. After that, you can take a boat tour out onto the glacial lagoon of Jökulsarlon or enjoy a guided walking tour around the Skaftafell National Park; both of these destinations are at a perfect distance for a day trip from the hotel. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location close to the glacier, yet still only 2km from Iceland’s Ring Road 1. The nearest town is called Höfn and can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
