On this 3 hour lava field atv tour you will journey to the active volcanic area Hengill. There as not been eruption for about 2000 years, yet the area is covered with lava fields and you will see you will see hot steams and springs bursting from the earth's surface amidst the vast, lava- filled landscapes. the earth all around. You'll even get a chance to see the Geothermal Powerplant and marvel at the incredible hot spring shrouded in white smoke. As you follow the trails across Stangarhóll you, you will be awed by the breathtaking views, with the ability to see all the way from the Hengill volcanic area to the south coast beach and Eyjafjallajökull glacier.
