CenterHotel Arnarhvoll lies in the heart of Reykjavik, and can be described as a 3 star hotel with the taste of something more. The views from the hotel’s skybar and relaxation area are stunning, and the restaurant (only open for breakfast, updated july 2022) is of a high quality. Here you can relax and take your time over breakfast or dinner, in order to fully take in the unique surroundings. In the summer, we recommend a glass of red on the upper balcony.
On the ground floor lies the Arnarhvoll’s relaxation area. With two kinds of sauna and a Turkish bath surrounded by candles, this hotel easily beats its competitors in a similar price range. The sauna is a welcome bonus after a day spent exploring, whether in the Icelandic nature or the shopping streets of Reykjavik.
Regardless of what you get up to during the day, the Arnarhvoll has a great location in the city, located only 200 metres from the main street. On the street directly outside the hotel, however, it is quiet with plenty of parking spaces. Turning to the right around the front of the hotel leads you to the main road through Reykjavik, which will take you quickly to the next stop on your journey.
