Before your trip

Before your trip, we’ll email your travel documents to the address you provided when booking. These documents include everything you need for a smooth journey, such as:

• Vouchers for excursions, hotels, and rental cars
• Airline tickets
• Other important information related to your itinerary

You can expect to receive your travel documents approximately two weeks before departure.

Please note: You will also be able to download your vouchers once your trip is fully paid. However, we recommend waiting for our email to ensure you receive the most up-to-date version of your travel documents, in case any changes have been made since your original booking.

Your flight ticket must display your full name exactly as it appears in your passport.

If you have multiple first names or surnames, they must be entered in the correct order, exactly as shown in your passport. This is essential to avoid issues at check-in or boarding.

Visa
U.S. citizens do not need a visa to visit Iceland for stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business.

Passport
Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date from Iceland.
However, we recommend having at least six months' validity remaining to avoid any potential issues with airlines or border checks.

Important:
It is your responsibility to ensure you have all the necessary travel documents before departure.
If you are not a U.S. passport holder, please check the specific entry requirements that apply to your nationality.

We recommend that you are at the airport in good time, about 2.5-3 hours before departure for larger airports. Please note that queues at the security check and check-in counters can be extremely long during high season and during holidays/holidays.

Check in at the airport:

1. Check in at a Self-Service Check-in machine at the airport.
2. Enter your booking reference that appears on your electronic flight ticket.
3. You get your boarding pass and your luggage tags in the machine.
4. Attach the luggage tag around the handle of your bag with the barcode facing out.
5. Then leave the bag at the Bag Drop counter.
6. You can also choose to check in at the counter of the airline you will be flying with, but please note that it may take a long time.

Checked baggage: 1 x 23 kg
Hand luggage: 1 x 10 kg

SAS:
Checked baggage: 1 x 23 kg
Hand luggage: 1 x 8 kg

Norwegian:
Checked baggage: 1 x 23 kg
Hand luggage: 1 x 10 kg

PLAY Airlines:
Checked baggage: 1 x 20 kg
Hand luggage: 1 x 10 kg small bag (under the seat)
