We welcome you on an adventurous whale watching experience with RIB boat.
Our 12-meter-long boat allows us to get very close to the animals in a way that’s extra safe for both our passengers and the whales.

On this rib boat tour you will experience stunning nature, whales, puffins and Reykjavík from the sea. On the way out to the whale area we stop at Akurey where the puffins live. Then we pump up the adrenaline and test the speed of the rib boat as we head out towards the whales, where we have plenty of time to see these majestic animals up close. On the way back to the harbor we take a beautiful route along Reykjavík’s coastline – a perfect photo opportunity!

It is no coincidence that both police and military use rib boats for fast and precise operations. A rib boat is very light compared to its size (this one is 12 meters long), moves fast and can navigate with great precision even in challenging conditions. On this rib boat there are so-called "shock seats" that are both safe and comfortable by absorbing the bumps – something that other rib boats usually do not have.

Requirements: Participants must be taller than 140 cm. The tour is not recommended for pregnant women, people with back problems or severe heart conditions.

Equipment:
On this tour it is important to dress according to Icelandic weather, which can be changeable and harsh. Good shoes to keep you warm and dry are also important, warm overalls are included. Bring your camera.
