On this 3-hour lava field ATV tour, you’ll travel to the active volcano area of Hengill. There hasn’t been an eruption for around 2,000 years, yet the area is covered in lava fields, and you’ll see hot steam and springs breaking out from the earth’s surface amidst the vast, lava-filled landscape. You may even get a chance to see a geothermal power plant and marvel at the incredible hot spring shrouded in white steam. Following the trails over Stangarhóll, you’ll be impressed by breathtaking views, with the possibility to see all the way from the Hengill volcanic area to the south coast and Eyjafjallajökull glacier. Join us for an adventure and experience the natural beauty of Iceland’s volcanic landscape. Each ATV has two seats and prices are listed per person; if you prefer to ride solo, a supplement applies.

- Requirements : A valid driving license for all persons wishing to drive the quad bikes.
- Minimum age : 8 years
- Difficulty : You need relatively good physical condition and a little experience of driving quads
