Entry to the Secret Lagoon

Welcome to one of Iceland's most authentic experiences – a bathe in the Secret Lagoon’s natural hot springs. This excursion only includes the entrance to the lagoon, which allows you to make your own individual exploration of the geothermal area.

Iceland's oldest swimming pool
The Secret Lagoon is an area with natural hot springs in the small village of Flúðir, near Geysir and Gullfoss. By car from Reykjavík, you will reach the area in just under an hour and a half.

The lagoon lies within an area known for its geothermal activity, the Golden Circle, which makes the destination excellent for anyone who is looking to explore more of Iceland's secrets. Founded in 1891, the Secret Lagoon is Iceland's oldest swimming pool, but the lagoon has been kept as untouched as possible to maintain its genuine feeling. Therefore, there is a magical feeling in slipping into the naturally warm water with a temperature of 38-40 degrees with the steam hanging in the air above. If you bathe in the wintertime, there is also a good chance of catching a glimpse of the northern lights, which often appear in these parts.

The facilities adjacent to the Secret Lagoon are modern with showers, bar and availability of snacks and drinks. One tip is to bring food, or plan a visit to a nearby restaurant, as the Secret Lagoon does not serve food daily.
