The Heritage Tour (8 AM/5 hrs/1.5 hrs riding) (C11)
A ride taking you over meadows and lava fields. Several old farms on our way help us discover how farming has developed during the last century. The riding paths on this trip are perfect for trying out the Icelandic horse’s special skill of "tølt (ambling).
When the riding tour ends, the riders are invited into the farm for coffee and a taste of an Icelandic specialty or something home-baked.
The excursion includes:

Equipment and clothing: Helmets, rain gear, and rubber boots are available for loan. During winter, thermal overalls, socks, and gloves are provided. Otherwise, dress in warm functional clothing. Shoes with a sturdy sole and heel are recommended.
